Web Accessibility Statement
1. Our commitment
Go Shortstay wants everyone to be able to find, book and enjoy our accommodation, including people with disabilities. We are working to make our website and our service easy to use for as many people as possible.
2. The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which is the widely recognised international standard for web accessibility. We treat these guidelines as our benchmark and work towards them over time.
3. What we are doing
To make our website more accessible, we work to:
• use a clear layout and readable text;
• provide text descriptions for meaningful images;
• make sure the site can be navigated by keyboard where possible;
• use colours and contrast that are easier to read; and
• write in plain language.
4. Where we know we can do better
Some parts of our website, or content provided by third parties such as booking tools and maps, may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are aware of this and are working to improve it. [Update this section with any specific known limitations once the site has been reviewed.]
5. Accessibility of our accommodation
If you have specific access needs for a stay, please contact us before you book. We will tell you honestly whether a Property will suit you, and help you find one that does.
6. Getting help and other formats
If you have trouble using our website, or you would like information in another format, we are happy to help. Contact us and we will help you to browse, make a booking, or get the information you need another way.
7. Tell us about a problem
If you find part of our website hard to use, please tell us. Contact admin@goshortstay.co.nz or 03 265 1222 and describe the problem and the page it is on. We welcome your feedback and will use it to improve.
8. How we respond
We aim to reply to accessibility feedback within 5 working days, and to fix problems as soon as we reasonably can.
9. Reviewing this statement
We will review this statement regularly and update it as we improve our website. Last updated: 1 August 2026.
